PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR WATER, SANITATION, HYGIENE AND HEALTH (WASH)

Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) are fundamental human rights. Yet, millions of people still lack access to these basic necessities. This leaves them exposed to preventable diseases, which negatively impacts their quality of life and undermines these essential rights.

Without properly protected water sources like boreholes or tap water, people especially in rural areas—are forced to rely on open and unsafe sources such as shallow wells, streams, and rivers. This greatly increases the risk of illness.

Our Solution: WASH Intervention Programs

Recognizing the severity of diseases that can be prevented through simple sanitation methods, KOFA Africa has launched intervention programs. Our goal is to stop the spread of disease among schoolchildren and in densely populated rural communities.

Our programs are designed to address this critical need through:

Provision of WASH Facilities: We install essential facilities to ensure communities have access to clean water and proper sanitation.

WASH Sensitization: We raise awareness about the importance of hygiene and safe practices.

Education: We empower communities with the knowledge they need to maintain good hygiene and prevent the spread of disease.
